01 — Context
The sneaker without the sneaker
A self initiated project around New Balance, run against the grain of the usual product film: rather than showing the shoe, it keeps only what signs it, the sea green of the mesh, the red of the lace, the mineral texture of the sole. Raw blocks, bound by a taut lace, on a bare background. The idea is to test how far a brand stays recognisable once you take its product away and leave it nothing but its palette and its materials.
